HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Looking to breed
|
on: May 24, 2010, 10:10:18 pm
|
As yall have seen i lost my best bay dog a week ago tomorrow. This has really got me to thinking i need to breed him for some puppies before it is to late.He has no dog aggresion. Catches hard and break stick needed to break him off. People who have hunted with him can testify hes no fun to break off. Has good wind for a bulldog but needs a little more leg i think. He catches on the ear as long as ones open if not hes on the snout. Hes a little over 80 lbs. 1/2 AB 1/2 Pitt looking to breed to a AB with long legs and long muzzle around 80 pounds. If you want to know more call me Clay 713-410-9855

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: >>> Garmin Astro 220 Tracking GPS questions <<<

I love mine...... BUT they do lose signal sometimes and if your dogs have alot of bottom i suggest running a radio system on them also my dogs do not get turned lose without a radio system i want my dogs back after the hunt. As far as durability i have had no issues a few people had some issues with collars but garmin sent them a brand new one so they stand by there product.

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / What do y'all consider "hard catching"
|
on: March 26, 2010, 11:01:28 am

Aladatrots post got me to thinking what makes a hard catching dog? Hard to pull off, hard to choke off, can't be choked off just wandering what y'all considered "hard" and what determines this many whippins from hogs, heart/prey drive or genetics
