2  GENERAL CATEGORY / BAY PENS / Re: gainesville tx baying on: September 26, 2010, 10:10:26 pm
Got to do dental work on the hogs last night that will be at the baying. All I can say for a fact is they have been eating good over the summer. They seem to be bigger, stronger and even seemed a little meaner.

There's one in Franklin, Texas used mostly for practicing but has lights for night time bayings.  Or another pen with shade trees for practices during day in hot weather.  By this fall there should be a new baypen in Groesbeck Area up and running and should hold some really big bayings there more details on this to come in future.

Approximately 48" tall Bottom deck is tall enough just to clear fenders. Then second deck is on top of that. And overhangs about a foot on each side. The bottom box was built separate from top box and then the two were screwed together. The bottom box is 48" or just wide enough to allow it to slide between fender wells.
6  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Halloween Practice Bay on: October 21, 2009, 08:41:18 am
Just to let any you know that may be interested, after the TNT baying on the 31st, several people will be coming over to my house which is only about 10 minutes from the TNT Bay Pen. We will be going through about thirty new hogs, filing their teeth and practice their baying abilities. This would be a good chance for anybody to practice their dogs. These hogs will be used in one of a series of three bayings that will be put together for the biggest baying of all the third week of March. If darkness falls upon on us no worries pen has lights.

Built one a few years back. Double decker 3 on bottom 4 on top. Painted it white with vents and ventilation throughout the top of each deck. Keeps dogs cool in summer, warm in winter. Painted with exterior paint keep in barn when not in use, still looks brand new.Put expanded metal from inside of holes for ventilation, this keeps dogs from chewing through it.
8  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: Next Bremond Baying 5-23-09 on: May 22, 2009, 08:56:34 am
On north side of Bremond turn towards Catholic Church ("sign will be off of Hwy 14.) Follow highway out of town for about eight miles or so when you cross railroad tracks in highway go about another 1/4 mile bay pen will be on your left. Same location as last time just different turn off from highway because pen is in the woods closer to highway.
