I can post some fishing stories hahaha! It’s hard to believe that we started this board in 2007… never in my wildest dreams did I think it would last this long. We were getting 2 million page views a month back in its heyday… but then facebook, Instantgram and all that came along. But even the hog hunting pages on those are dying off and slowing down from what I’ve seen. I really believe there are a lot less hog hunters now than back then. I can’t even remember how many people that have come and gone over the years. But as long as everyone is using and enjoying the board, I’ll keep it up and running.

Looks like a heckuva good time Cajun! Jameson is a friend of mine and I’ve bear hunted with him a couple of times. He also had some cur dogs out of mine back when he lived in Oklahoma and hog hunted.

Thanks fellas… I’m sure looking forward to some cooler weather and getting these out of shape dogs back in the woods.

T-dog, you remember that scene from Forrest Gump about all the ways you can cook shrimp? That’s how I feel about white bass right now hahaha!

The hogs are finally making a come back around here since the big freeze. Last year was the worst year I’ve ever had… there were just no hogs anywhere. Caught about a dozen or so this year… one stud off the rice fields. Landowners are starting to see more and more… just letting them rest until it cools off hahaha.




Kelly and his wife came down from Oklahoma to spend the weekend with my wife and I to chase lizards. After relocating a couple of bait thieves, we finally got a 9 footer on the line.




Other than that, we were tearing up the white bass until the lake got too low in this drought. Probably caught 400-500 in the past few months.

Here’s some pics from the last few hunts… a couple of good boar hogs. That last about whooped everything I had.

Heather and I made a run up to a ranch I hunt this morning… killed 5 and 2 squealers. While we were taking pics with the landowners of the hogs, Minnie and Sassy left out and bayed another one. Dang good way to start the year!!!

Welcome to the board! There’s lots of hog hunters in that area, hopefully some will chime in. If you ever feel like traveling a few hours, you’re more than welcome to come hunt sometime.

Picked up a new city property to hunt. Made a dry run out there last weekend with the property manager… but caught two yesterday, one big ol heifer! Also got to break in the new hog buggy.
