aladatrot we have the same mine set!!! Thats the way it should be. I am just trying to help and give my two cents and I get hammerd but its ok cause I have a better judgment on people on this board and where they draw the line!! What works for me might be a cull to someone eles but I can tell you that the line that I draw is alot high than most!!

I think that is something you breed for and the next step would be hunting the dog when they are young with dogs that are long range. If you cant find a long range dog it would be best to hunt the dog by itself so it dont pick up short range habits. 99% of the time the young dog you are running with older dogs they will pretty much be what you are hunting them with. No offense but 20 or 30 yards is horrable in my book, mine go that far just to piss and sh*t and then haul a** from there.

Hey cward the guy from Colmesneil, TX that has these hart bred dogs is Jason Laury and they are used strikly on cattle. Hossman, Beau and myself have dogs from him and some other guys that have them in the same area that breed with Jason. We have taking gyps down their to get bred and have pick up puppies from them. Jason and me share a fence line their in Colmesneil and me and my family have know him for along time.

Thanks UNDERDOG!!! Sounds like it might work. I have been using tinactin for athletes foot and it doesnt seem to be working.

I have some pups that look like they have a skin fungus (maybe ringworm). It start on one pup and it spreaded to the rest of them. Anyone have a suggestion how to treat it? This is the first time I have ever had any problems with pups. They are all fat, gums have good color, eatting good, and act fine it is just that dam fungus I cant shake!!

Thats the only way to have any fun is to make it short and sweet. Anything after that seems like it turns into work!! HAHA!!
