Breed does not matter, but wanting a close to semi open on track thats been in the woods on hogs before.  $600 or under is top dollar.

i always sour some milo in a bucket of water, and go to the closest convenient store. Go to the back where the grease trap is and dip you a little out.  Put the milo in and around the trap and be sure to put some leading the hog into the trap.  Then cover the milo and the trap in the grease "its nasty but it works." 

i'm sure everybody was there own way of doing it, and i bet you could write a book with all the recipes out there, but this works for me.

You could also wire the trap open and let the hogs go in and out of the trap for 3 or 4 days, then pin the door and see what happens.

If you set snares and kill or even catch a deer, and the Game Warden sees it you are looking at some major fines and even jail time.

4X8X4 or bigger  and the side henged doors work the best from what i've found but any kind of door that will work

That may be a little too far to drive unless you know a dog transporter that will come to the panhandle.
