big chris I think your getting off on the wrong foot my man. I have hunted with this gentle man many times , No I have never seen him run 3 pits? I am at his house all the time and he dont even own 3 pits?? Maybe it was not his place to tell you to cull your dogs but everyone is going to give you advise about hunting you just gotta do what you and your dogs do. This man is not a know it all type a person, if i belive so didn't he get you started on running dogs and wasn't you going over there talking to him abunch about his dogs and wanting some of his pups? Hogs are amazing animals and now matter how long any of these guys on here have been after them they will never be able to predict what they are going to do. I am not one to tell you your buisness about running your dogs that you feed and raise, but it may be wise to run some kinda protection with your 3 dogs that are less than 14 months old, it would hurt to give them some help with catch dog or even an seasoned dog. To each his own though.

 Alright guys its that time for our 2nd Annual Wild Hog Hunting Tournament. Will be held in Lone Oak, Tx March 18th, 19th, 20th 2011. You will hunt your own places and bring your best 5 hogs to be weighed in, the teams with the top three weights will take 1st @ 50%, 2nd @ 30%, and 3rd @ 20%. Thier will also be an optional Big Hog Jackpot that will pay out 100%. You can have a 1-4 man gun team or a 2-4 man dog team. Entry fee is $50.00 per man and optional big hog entry fee is $50.00 per team. Tournament check in will be @ 4163 CR 3132 Lone Oak, TX 75453 by the Sabine River bridge (look for signs by the hwy) or entry by mail is available. Sign up times start Friday March 18th 2011 from 1pm-8pm. Tournament start at 5pm March 18th 2011. Weigh in will be Sunday March 20th 2011 @ 10am. 20% will be pulled from entry fees to accomidate for food and drinks, whatever is left over will be added back into payout money. 1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer 4x4 has the straight 6 cyl. motor 5 speed manual trans, pwr windows and locks, after market cd player. Seats are a little dirty and carpet is stained a little bit, and passanger outside door button is missing and so is emergency brake release button, other than that this is a great running and driving vehicle, was an everyday driver for a while. 4x4 works 100% and A/C even BLOWS COLD. I would trust this vehicle to make it anywhere. Front matching tire and wheel are back on (had a slow leak). Located in Lone Oak, Tx (903)456-5055 $1750.00       |

Well for the wind blowing like crazy all weekend it made it a hard hunt for everyone, there was 12 teams with a total of 33 people check in. They brought back a total of 30 hogs with a grand total weight of 3,418 lbs. All in all it was a great 1st turn out and we are looking forward to bigger and better next year.
