No sir, I don't have the black catch dog anymore.

But he was a fighter. Dogs took the track off of a mud hole. Trailed him .7 miles on the Garmin and bayed him in a shin oak thicket. Didn't get many pics of him after I killed him. Had other things to worry about. Teeth were just over 3in prolly weighed 160ish..

Decided to make a short run by myself this afternoon. Dogs winded this boar from the Ranger and bayed him in his bed. Been catching quite a few small hogs and sows, figured this one was worth posting pics of.
Not huge teen 2 1/2in

He does have grinders, he was just a young hog with big teeth. We don't have big heavy hogs. I catch quite a few boars every year with teeth like that. They usually weigh 160 to 175. Lots of russian influence. Makes them run a little too    I brought him in an weighed him just to make sure my eyes weren't playin tricks on me.

Decided to make a run in the drizzle this afternoon. Bayed  a group about 30 min into the hunt. Caught 3 out of that group. Biggest one was a boar weighing 102lbs with 4in by 3 7/8in teeth. Smallest bodied biggest toothed hog I've ever seen. He was healthy just small bodied. Kept hunting and caught 3 more. No pics, caught them too far from the truck.

I'm about 30 mins north of J.P. In the Hill Country. Our cedar and shin oak, and rocks grow good teeth.
