I'm in the Jasper/Newton area?  I have access to a lot of scraps. Its mainly meat it good for animals. I run beagles and have way too much plus I mix half scraps to my dog food. If interested let me know.

sorry to hear about your dogs. I would been in jail. good thing you have some controll. i have had this happen to some rabbit dogs before. almost made me want to give up hunting. its a shame when someone has nothing better in life to do but to try and make someone feel bad by shooting a hunting dog. as you can see he is not worth the air he breaths. it was a time I would have said an eye for an eye, but not now. I will say this i hope he lives a long life. with out his good health. That will be more pain to him than anything else. please explain to those kids that everyone is not like that.

Hey Kevin,
I lived in Rosenburg until a few months ago, I moved to houston. How big of a place you need. I dont know if you are willing to drive2.5 hours to E Texas. I have seen lots of hog sign on our place but it seems they move once deer season starts. I dont have any hog dogs i only run beagles on rabbit. It has been a longtime since i have been on a good hog hunt with dogs. I have been out of work so you can call me i will be open to go. But just have to make sure I have the money to travel. I could use a hog and im sure it would be fun. Good fellowship, great food and good dogs no matter what the chase is. So give me a call and if my place is big enough we can go.

I woud not put out poison, other animals will get it. Try this get those sponges you use to wash a car. soak in bacon grease or grease from frying hamburgers cut the sponge in half inch squares. check often and pick up left overs if you plan to run dogs.

Hey Bryant, Sorry I did not want you to think I was saying you were cheap. But I was saying/meaning some of the cheaper horse wormers will not get all the worms. Try the pets-mega store site. If you need the number I can get it for you. But the pills they sell will get all the worms and you only have to give it every three months. The pill will not take care of the heart worms. Ivimection will kill the larve. The adults will die they can only live for so long. If you do give inverm. keep penned up dont let move around much can dislodge heartworms go in lungs and kill the dog.

Safeguard will take care of some tapes but you have to give it three days in a row. Drontal is the best was togo. there is a sight of a store that is overseas you can buy pill without prescription. It is called pets megga store i think. You only have to worm every three months. Come on guys I know that times are hard, trying to be cheep when you have a dog that can bay or hold a hog is worth more than some back yard reemidies. JMO
