It is always eventfull when we go to the crapemurtles.. .. It always seems to produce good hogs but i know we will end up in that creek.
Have yall ever seen the hogs dive under the water away from the dogs? This one looked like a duck and would go under and then pop up a few feet away. you should have seen the confused dogs ...lol

I have a finished dog that will try to climb out of a bay pen.. i think he feels trapped..

Try a pen big enough for them to find the hog.
or tie on to a tree in the woods and let them find it as you are walking in. It works..

I have a good Hand Made Sticker that my Dad Gave me years ago. Dad is Gone now it has a great deal of sentimental value. I hate to retire it but if I loose it I know will regret it.

oh yeah.
We have the same thing going on latley. It has happened to us at least five times in the last month. Same hog.
We have even seen the boar out on the opening with the cows, turn a few dogs loose to hiim and he will run and find a group of sows bedded-nursing and the dogs will get on the sows. I am about to catch up to him with some lead...lol

When we say "HARD CATCH" it means a freight train is on the way to roll a pig an no missing.....
