You will disappointed if you buy that cheap junk.  Been there.  I think you are better off buying an old tri-tronics and getting it refurbished at collar clinic or somewhere.  Just my 2 cents.

Does anyone have any experience or know anyone who has used the Garmin Alpha 100?  Is it reliable?  Just talked to someone on phone who said two of three times they used it, one or two of the collars shut themselves off.  Turned them back on and they worked fine.  Not a dead battery.  Any comments or insight will be appreciated as I am thinking of selling my 220 and tri-tronics and purchasing one.  Thanks in advance for your help.  361-772-6820, gene@genereeswildlifeservices.com.

I have a 5' X 5' Atascosa Corporate Hunting Blind on a 10' tower with ladder for sale.  The blind is in good condition.  These are good hunting blinds.  Well insulated and bug proof.  $2100. You're saving about $400 off new blind price if you pick one up at the store and you can't just drive up and let them throw it on the back of your pickup.  This blind is over 16' tall and heavy.  

I will deliver free within a 50  mile radius of Hallettsville, Texas.  Anywhere else for a fee.  Delivery consists of me driving to your ranch and your blind location if possible. You will need a tractor to take the blind off of my trailer.  Should be able to spin it around and stand it up with chains or strong rope.  Prefer cash, but will consider trades of guns etc. of equal value.  I don't need any dogs right now though.  I have a Wildlife Materials TRX 10-S tracking system.  Haven’t used in a couple years because have Garmin. Never used much as just coon hunted and blood tracked. I don’t plan to bust it up right now, gonna try to sell or trade it as a package.  I just got it out today and the battery on the receiver is dead from sitting up.  I have a new battery ordered and will check it all out before I do anything with it.  Should have it ready to go in a week or two.  I don’t want to sell or trade anything unless I am sure it is all good.  It was working well when I put it up.  The receiver is mounted on a 3 element folding antenna.  The 4 collars are the 9-ounce Magnum Convertible Collar that allows user to choose signal range and battery life.  You can put a 25-day battery or two batteries that will last about 15 days and give a little longer range.  All collars worked fine.  They all have a tree switch.  It is a 219 frequency.  I bought it all from Wick’s.  I have a charger and case and probably extra batteries for the collars. 

Once I get the battery replaced and check everything out I will probably ask about $500 for it.  I checked today and a new system comparable to it would be a little over $1200 from Wildlife Materials.  I will consider any and all trades but do not need any dogs.  I would prefer to trade for a gun or scope of comparable value.  I could use a good 12-gauge shotgun and/or a flat bottom boat.  Thanks for looking.  Gene, 361-772-6820.

I went to the website, got their number, and called them.  They were very helpful and the process is relatively simple...even for an Aggie like me.  Just take the frame and box it up in a small flat rate box and send in.  Postage should be $5.25 and you should insure for $300.  Enclose a check for $70, the poundage you want the trigger set to, and a return address.  If you don't send a check they will call you to get credit card info.
