Rocking roo , that is a very nice stag , he looks just like a pup I sent down to Florida but that pup was a Track dog over a Stag bitch , the the stag was 3/4 Deer and 1/4 greyhound. The dog i put over her was a penske son I have track dogs as well . Were did you hunt foxes and roos in Aust  I grew up on cattle stations in western QLD.  I have done that pit cross as well with a penske dog over inbred mayday they are hard dogs and fast.  I would like to see some of the pure deerhounds you have up that way its hard to find any out of working stuff. How old is you Stag and do you have others ?

For the guys asking about greyhounds most are raised till around 14 or 15 months old before they are schooled and then around 16 months is the youngest you can get them on the track not many people will let them go before schooling .
