How does your's hunt txhogman?
I acquired her from a good buddy and he put a lot of work into her. Your right super high prey drive with only 1 gear, hyper drive. Hasn't found her own hog, but is fast as lighting to the bay. I plan to use her as my catch dog. I run gritty dog that will catch anything under 200. Anything over they just need a trigger. She is definitely that. This grain season will be here big test. I'm sure she'll do fine.

I only run cut collars in mine. I feel a vest will slow them down. For the most part they are quick enough to avoid a rank boar. I had one that was straight catch he got cut once, but it was in a muddy creek, I believe he wasn't fast enough in the mud. My 2 cents

HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Strait Catch Yellow Black Mouths. (Who is interested)?

If a BMC has the same grit as a bull dog. I'm interested. I run a BMC that is gritty and will catch anything under 200, but I haven't seen him really tested by anything over that. He winds doesn't track, but is at every bay. Has been since about 7months. We run several small tracts and most all our dogs must be gritty enough to stop a hog before they're out of the field and into the neighboring property. To have a BMC straight catch amongst the strike dog would be ideal for my type of hunting.

Yeah, a good buddy hooked me up with her. She's crazy only has one speed, hyper drive. We caught a hog I broke her off and sent her off. She ran full speed right into my buddy's family jewels, folding him over. She bounce right off and ran the other direction at full speed. LoL, we were walking single file in the grain and a buddy was right behind me. She wasn't having that. She would get between us and use her body to block him. She is something else, but I have a thing for crazy dogs.
