Thanks Dexter.  We are all just sick that she is missing.  I know someone had to have picked her up at this point.  Thanks for keeping an eye out for her.

My boy's 8 month old Catahoula pup went missing yesterday from our house.  We live near Montgomery, TX in the back of Crown Oaks near FM2854 and Collier Cemetary Rd.  Unfortunately she is not chipped or tattooed, but she had on a red collar with her rabbies tag and a brass name plate with my contact info. on it.  He sure would like to get his pup back.  If you see her, please call Bryan Rennell at 281-380-0796 or 936-588-0708.

5  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / New pup & a question on hog hunting on: August 03, 2010, 07:06:23 pm
I found this site a couple months ago while looking for a Catahoula pup for my son.  We bought a femal pup from Dexter & she is great.  She is living up to what I read about Catahoulas.  She has really taken to my son, is being protective, picks up on stuff really quick, etc.  I have never hog hunted, but interested.  I like to see a do do what it was bred for.  I am really nervous that the dog could be killed which would be devistating to my boy.  Should I just let her be a pet and get another dog(s) to hunt with or can vests and collars offer adequate protection?

It could also be dry eye (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca).  One of my old dogs has it.  Here eyes don't produce enough tears and I have to give her cyclosporine drops twice a day.

Honda is all I have ever owned since my first 3-wheeler.  Last one I bought was a Fourtrax 300 like posted above back in 2000.  Never plan to get rid of it and you can't seem to tear them up.  The new ones are bigger and faster but I can go anywhere they do and it is still light enough you can lift one end by yourself if you get hung up.
