I was a sophomore. I had stayed home that day, both my mom and I were sick and laying in the living room. I had just taken out a bowl of rice-a-roni from the microwave when my step dad calls and says that a plane has hit the trade center. Mom turned and we saw the second plane hit. Watched the news the rest of the day. I will never forget that day.

Vest. If you will run your cd and get them in shape less likely to over heat.  I learned this the hard way. Run your cd on four wheeler or truck heck of your in shaPe run with them lol.

I take care of our dogs just as much as my husband and I can tell you just as much stuff about each individual dog just as well. We have some dogs that won't listen to me to save my life but turn around we have a couple that could care less about PBC if I'm around. LOL. I'm not much into hunting at night but will usually go depending on who we're going with but I love going durin the day. I can give shots, fluids and help with most injuries. Now the smell of blood does get to me but I don't mind getting my hands dirty. This is a passion and a way of living for both myself and my husband.

One of our caseworkers had go to lunch and had left all her papers on her desk. We covered the desk with clear plastic and poured fingernail polish all over her desk. Needless to say when she got back to the office you could hear her choice words until she realized there was plastic on her desk and her papers were not bright pink

I know there are MANY different opinions on welfare but I have to say that most of the time I am very proud of where I work. I feel like I can and am able to help people that really need it. Yes there are those that know the system and those that lie and it Really ticks me off. PBC sometimes has to listen to me rant and raff about it. BUT there are those that really need this help! Yes there's are some charities but not so much in smaller towns and if there is they will only help so many time or you still have to pay. Our town is wonderful as far as helping each other but the resources just are not there. There are things that could be changed but that's with everything. I don't know what would happen if they did away with welfare in fact I don't want to know! I have helped people that really really needed and i have even been on the other side my desk as a child. And believe me I don't know what my mom would have done without this TEMPORARY help with four children leaving an abusive relationship. This program is meant to help people/ families for a temporary period and yes I know better than most that this is not the case with some. But for those that need it it is saving grace and an answer to prayers.  Yes these lazy people need to get off their growing backsides and get a job but know that their are those that are trying and really need this to help them get back on their feet whether it's from a divorce, death of spouse, loss of job or etc... Okay I guess I've said my fill... Sorry kind of passionate about my job even though PBC says he can tell I work the state when the witch in me comes out lol ( meaning towards some of the clients)

As a Foodstamp and Medicaid worker I find this pretty funny! All these lazy people need to get off their backsides and get a durn job.

Does anyone know the hours for Canton Trade Days for Sunday?

You can only take being friendly so far and Zach has done tried that. Being friendly doesn't do anything for some people. Zach has way more patience than I do though.

Our dogs were poisoned with antifreeze several years back. When I got home they acted as though they were drunk. They couldn't walk straight and kept falling over. We only had one dog pull through but she never was right after that. We lost really good dogs. I have a pretty good idea but there never was any evidence. Our vet keep samples for proof that they were poisoned in case we ever needed it. That was absolutely horrible!   

Dixie has only seen a hog once. We had gone over to a friends house and they had a boar in their pen that weighed around 220 and she was determined that she was going to get that pig. luckily I had her on a lead and she couldnt get through the fence but u could tell that she hated that thing. She probably weighs around 7 lbs and she isn't a yappy dog thank goodness!!

For the purse it really needs to be a cut out or an outline. She said it would be hard to put a lot of detail into it with the machine that she has. But any pics are greatly appreciated b/c she can also make leather pillows with any pic.

U got that right!! My lacys r awesome!!! Lol and I do really enjoy this website. Colt got me hooked on the site. It has been my only saving grace this month having to be in the city for work training. I'm not a city girl and don't do good in the metroplex for any extended period of time and this site has kept me sane!! Thank y'all so much!!!! The drama does get funny but thanks to the moderators it doesn't get out of hand.

When we lived in town there was this lady that lived down the street and a hawk tried to pick up her pom. It would have gotten the dog if she hadn't been watching it. Ever since then I always have to watch when I let my min pin out.
