My buddy, John Lowery from Mississippi gave me a copy of the book. He was in on the hunt & has several pictures in the book of him & his dogs. He comes to South Texas and hauls cotton modules. Bayed Solid magazine got us together several years ago and we've even gotten to hunt together a few times. He has some good yellow dogs.

Someone already asked this question, but I didn't see an answer. What dosage of the Safeguard sheep wormer do you use? Do you use the weight ratio on the bottle. I was told the dosage would be more reliable than using the paste form.

Caught a nice one on sale from cabela's about a year ago. Go to about 350. Used them just once since I got them. Just not convenient for us most of the time.

The first few hog hunting trips I made behind dogs were with RRB's x BMC's. The fella we hunted with had a pair of litter mates 1/2 & 1/2. They were leggy and could really run. They didn't have any problem finding hogs. A few years later one of my buddies got a catch dog that was RRB x pit and he was a great catch dog with a very good disposition toward everything except hogs. I picked up one of those full blooded ones years later. He was a grown dog when I got him & had been a family pet. No interest in hogs. He was one of the big framed dogs & stout as could be. I traded him to an old boy down South of that King Ranch country. He was going to cross that dog with some of his leopard cow dogs. I do not know how that turned out.

Mike C. , Shane is working out of Los Cuernos Ranch near Cotulla. I think he is still booking a bunch of hog hunts. Sent me some pix recently that were taken somewhere in the Hill Country. They had caught some big old boars & Lion & Boar Hunter was in some of the pix. He told me that he was looking for some more leopard dogs for his pack.

Hey Lion & Boar Hunter, do you hunt with Shane London often? He sent me some good pix recently & you are pictured in there with a nice boar. I know Shane from his King ranch days. he picked up a good little pit catch dog from me recently. I think he'd rather hunt hogs than breathe.
