Way too staged for me.......the dogs never get in the woods and bay a hog, every hog they show runnin in the field, and what's up with the sound every time they get on a hog? That's very annoying!!

I've owned tons of both, can't complain too much about either. A good dog is a good dog! But I do think the bmc has more bottom. If I had to choose I would go bmc , but like them both

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Tournaments, lies, cheats, lawsuits and failed polys!!!
|
on: March 06, 2013, 08:32:21 pm

The guys putting on tourneys need to put their foot down and if you fail there should be no controversy, you're DQ'd.... One thing I think we should change is the trespassing rule, you can't teach a dog boundaries and a good dog is gonna go a long way. We all trespass at one time or another. Throw that out the window as breaking a game law. And a Barr is a precaught hog!! If you are gonna allow them in a tourney there should be a percentage of weight deduction. What would be better is have a tourney where we take your top 5 sows.

THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / Gritty strike dog (SOLD)

2 yr old bmcx gyp, works real hard, nose to the ground and will range out 1000yds. You don't have to worry about tripping on her. Will bump a deer and will open on hot track. Deer breaking is easy, I don't like the openness, reason for selling. I will have her with me at the splendora weigh in tomorrow. $500, call or TEXT. 979-732-7271, email hoggy01@hotmail.com, don't check.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Dog DNA question

on: December 28, 2012, 08:48:24 pm

I have a jam up gyp that got bred somehow. All of the strike and help dogs are crossed up many ways but I know the breeds in them. There is a chance she could have got locked up in the woods with a cd. If bred to a strike then I'll keep some, otherwise I'll sell as rcd's or bay dogs. No matter which they should be good for someone. Too good of a gyp to not raise them

Cross her if shes jam up, if you plan on selling to us hogdoggers not many care about papers. One of the best ones i've seen was 1/2 pit 1/4 ab 1/4 dogo. Had all the characteristics you want.
