I have three dogs forsale! 1. Half dogo half stag female named Ivoree. She is almost two and is stout! She has been on alot of hunts. I have let her run with my bay dogs and she is usually at the bay and if she isn't around the minute she hears a bark she is going to be headed that way! She is always caught when I get there! Usually under the jaw or if she can't get there she is on a front shoulder! I think with a little time you could make her a lead in CD! She is also very friendly to people and loves to play! Sometimes I will come home and my sister will have her off the chain and will be playing with her in the yard! 400 for her 2. Next is a glass eyed catahoula female! She is almost three and has found many hogs on her own! She has really turned it on here lately! She is pretty gritty and will catch a hog that is 120 or less! If it's is bigger than that she will back up and bay! She is shorter ranged but if you set her down in fresh sign she will hunt her butt off! I would not be selling her but they won't allow dogs in the dorms! She is for sale at 350 3. Last is a cur dog that I recently bought! He is a big tall dog that is fast! I have only hunted him about ten times and he has found his own hog five out of those ten times! He is young dont know the exact age on him! I really like this dog and I think he will turn out to be a really good one if someone will take him and hunt him a bunch! He has been cut so you don't have to worry about hunting him with females that are in heat! Lol I would take 250 for him! I can send pictures through text or you can call me and ask any questions! 18064702898 My email is kameron22@yahoo.com but I never check it!

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Cut up dogs.....

Loaded up this morning and headed out with some friends! We went to a place that we hunted last week and caught two hogs, so we decided to go back!
I dropped all the bay dogs and let them hunt! We had my dogs Katt, Squeak, Diamond, Eddie(Stag Hound) and Ivoree (half dogo half stag) to catch. My buddy brought his bay dog Hyp and Daisy to catch. Another friend brought his dog (Grifo) along to help bay.
The dogs ran up the creek 320 yards and bayed one up right out in the middle of the creek. We let Eddie and Daisy go and then sent Ivoree in after. She is just a pup didn't really know how she was going to act on her first hunt but she ran in there and caught right with the other two catch dogs. I was very impressed. Tyler and I waded in the water, drug the hog out of the creek to get the stick. I don't think I have ever been than cold in my life!
We gathered all the catch dogs and we took off down the creek! We walked all the way to the fence line and started heading back towards the truck. We made it about 300 yards away from the truck and all the dogs took off and bayed one up 400 yards away and so we took off! I got close enough to hear the hog grunt and so I sent the stag. I ran to the bay thinking Eddie was going to be on the ear and to my surprise he was ten yards away from the bay and all i could see was blood pouring from his bottom jaw. The pit finally got there and got the hog caught and I gave the hog what it needed ---a knife in the lungs and heart. I showed no mercy.
I knew Eddie was not doing good, so I took off to the truck with him. He went about 100 yards and laid down. I grabbed him up, packed him on my back and walked about 3/4 of a mile to my truck. I loaded him up and head to my friends, Paul Teagarden's house (Silvertonboardogs) We pumped him full of fluids, stitched him up and hoping for the best. He is still alive right now, so just hoping he makes it! He is a great catch dog, and has alot of hunt left in him!!

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / cold hunt!!

Last night me and some friends loaded up a couple dogs! I had my three bay dogs (kat, squeak, and diamond) and i brought my stag (Eddie) along to catch. my buddy brought one of his bay dogs (Dale) and his bulldog to catch (tazer). we had a north wind so we cruised along the fence line and about ten minutes into the hunt Dale Kat and Squeak rolled out on a hot track. Me and CLiff both lost connection with all the dogs so we took off to where we thought they were at. We got to where we lost them at and about thirty yards away they had about a 200 pound sow bayed up in a tank. we dumped the catch dogs and they bailed in after him. the two caught and were caught right out in the middle of the tank and we were not about to get in after him. Luckily he swam up to the bank and we got a leg and stabbed him and went on with our hunt...

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / The dreaded hunt....
|

Yesterday i was finishing feeding my horses when i heard my dogs start baying hard. I ran to the back of the pick-up and noticed my hounds were gone and so I new it was them baying! So I went and grabbed my stag and headed out towards the bay. I got the back fence (1 mile) and still wasn't to the bay. I got Eddie (stag) crawled through the fence and walked to the bay! The dogs had a big boar bayed up in a mott so I cut Eddie loose..... As soon as I unclipped the snap the bay broke and the boar ran for about another 1/4 mile until Eddie had caught him! I got about 5 yards from the hog when he decided he had enough of Eddie. He ripped his head around swinging Eddie where they were face to face. The boar ripped up and cut Eddie from the Sternum to the bottom of his jaw! He immediatly let go and ran to me!
I got him all stapled up thanks to Paul Teagarden (silverton boar dogs) and he will be out for a while!
And BTW the boar is still running around! But in 45 days when Eddie is ready again he wont be alive much longer!!!

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Accidental hunt....

My buddies and I took off after school planning on checking a hog trap and so we just decided to take the hounds with us. We started going through the place just as we always do and we hit the bottom and the dogs struck hard so we stopped and in about thirty seconds my dog Katt started baying hard soon after the others dogs got there and started baying so i knew it was a hog. I sent my stag Eddie from about 150 yards out my buddy sent his pit cross (Bruno) and the two caught hard. We got the pig killed and headed out. We got the pig trap checked and decided to head out and call it a night. As we were driving out of the wheat field a group of hogs ran in front of the truck and unknowingly Eddie was right on there tail-end with half a leash.... lol
With Eddies amazing speed he caught about a 125 pound gilt pig. All my bay dogs had a pig bayed up about 500 yards from where Eddie had caught. We got Eddies hog killed and sent him to the bay. When we got to the bay Eddie was on one ear and Bruno was on the other.
All in all i think it was a successful hunt ![Smiley](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
