I have 3 young Parker cross dogs at the right age (10 + months) to start.  They are out of cast dogs that are semi loose bay- 3 to 5 ft.  All are 3/4 parker to 1/4 July hound. 
I'm not able to start them and  haul them as I planned .

Been breeding this line for awhile.  Only lineage I have in the kennels .  she is 13 weeks.  I don't have room for her our I would keep her.. Father is a Parker cur. That's a solid 5 hour long range cast dog.   Mother is a drift off and cast but dont look back, run all day.  The pup is bred down to 3/4 Parker 1/4hound.  This is a repeat .  I like the way they hunted so I bred for a couple more.     The way I hunt is casting . The young dogs now are not even 2 but are hunting is showing hogs and pushing for lead.   Will have bottom ,speed and legs.   I like a semi loose dog when solo.. Well nothing has changed on this site .lol. bunch of talkers!  Lol.    I guess im a walk /jogging hunter .. I like to stay in shape that's most of the reason i walk hunt. Almost Everyone i have hunted with ask me how do you keep up with your dogs without a buggy or atv ! Well i exspect my dogs to follow them to hell and back!   I catch alot but  my dogs  have that extra bottom to stroke a hog out!   I only run 1 or 2 bay dogs at a time ..  any more dogs its way to much dog power .  Now a number of hogs well its over 2 hunderd good hogs every year just with dogs not going to brag but if you spent the time i do in the woods then your best friend are your dogs and you wont be on here bragging about every catch or every shoak yall catch!!      Happy internet hunting yall!

Needing my 2 dogs transported from houston to louisiana line.  I will trade a hog trap of your pick .  I have 3 to pick from . Ya I'm seeing how much it's going to cost to send a dog up to Missouri then back to Texas after training courses.    May choose to go with ray Cooper he is one person I can trust to spend good money for one on one with my pup .   Had great success with him with my lead dog.

I realise there is a difference in the bulldog game and the hog dog game and times are not what they use to b at all!  But damn the dogs and pups for sale are unreal the numbers of them.   I would be skeered out of my mind if I was a new guy trying to get started.  Lol

LOL .. Yep, It takes allot longer now to find a good line and good people you can trust!     I learn it's best to keep to your self 75% of the time and DON'T trust people that are flaky !

That's what i enjoy, having fun and seeing some young dogs over time progress into a fine dog! 

So you like a catch dog that has handle ? That fall's into the handler job and some are breed to have more handle then others.  I'm sure the place i get my strike dogs from are just as good if not better then most!  No i don't cull much because i only take in one pup at a time to give them the best chance one can while raising and hunting! But this stuff is off the subject tho!  I know if you put the #s against good strike dog and good catch dog the strike dogs are harder to come by, And your not catching many hogs with just a catch dog if you don't have the strike dogs to find, bay and contain a hog for the catch dog to catch!! rcd do not count..lol  And there's more then one way to catch or kill a hog without a catch dog around just saying... Well this is just my 2 cents on what a catch dog is worth.

After reviewing to pic with zoom it's really hard to judge if the ear is cut or just a wrinkle,  I'm not taking sides but do you have pic of your dog?

catch dogs are a dime a dozen in my eyes!  The last time you where in the market for a strike dog how many did y'all trail or hunt?   So truly Look at the amount it takes you to get a good dog not some number2 dog that runs 1/4 to a mile and falls off!  If you can say a catch dog is evenly at VALUE as a strike dog good luck with your culls!   I know most of y'all would say your lead dog is not replaceable!

I just bring my bay dogs and a long piece of rope and i'm catching hogs with out a catch dog, And i hunt like this more then i do with a catch dog, And my dogs bay semi loose so if  it's to big for me to rope or jump on him i'll come back with a catch dog.   Really good strike dogs that's very consistence is hard to come by!  Pitbull or bulldogs are not because they are 5 dollars on Fridays at the spca.
