yes diesel would work, but as said before burnt motor oil works great and is free.

i am a hound man and always will be, i love open dogs, i run plotts. i also have no problem with a silent dog, but i prefer open all day.

i hunt plotts, and i dont know about the trashy part. i am a hound man and love my plotts.

i keep mine off the ground for 4 months befor they touch the ground, i have had no problems with loosing pups. and i do give the there shots.

see if you can locate some dog runners and put the hounds on them, lot of people looking for place to run there dogs, i do mean yote hounds or fox hounds

i have had that happen before, but i am running plotts and the last few times the yotes have lost the battel. i had one time where at the house by my pond it sounded like it had to be 20 or so yotes, we were outside and my wife got scared. i have 16 hounds that i run deer on big game black and tans and july/walker crosse. i opend the gates and let them all out. since then i have not had a problem around the house anymore lol.

i had a dog with the same symtoms, one day doing fine, the next day could not use his back legs at all. i took him to the vet and had urelikea, or something like that. it was a type of tick fevor. the vet gave him some deocycycline and he came around.

arrow all jokes aside i would say at least 10-12 hours sometimes to clould lol, mike cauley did a cross with a supper male that had around a 20 hour nose, i dont remember the name of the dog but he was and is well know. mr. roberts dogs will stop a hog no problem, but they dont catch the bay they will get in the hogs face, now they aint scared.

i run plotts and many times i have went with my buddys and left the dogs in the box. we used there cats and curs, now dont get me wrong they have darn good dogs. we would sometimes not get onanything and they say there are no hogs in the area, i say lets see what the plotts d and about 3-5 hours latter we have pork. i like hounds because i have ran deer and rabbit since i was 5 and i am 37 now. now my freinnds want me to bring the dogs every time and kick them out first, aint that right old danny joe,. but it realy is all up to the person, i like hounds and hound crosses.

i have 5 dogs from him, and i talk with him weekly. they are cold nosed and not gritty, bay only. he does not like a gritty dog.

WE HAVE A RIG WE BUILT. WE HAVE BIG TUBB THAT WE HEAT WITH A LRGE BUTANE BOTTEL. THERE IS A CAGE KINDA LIKE A UPSIDE DOWN CATTLE CHUTE. WE PUT THE HOG IN IT AND DIP IT, IT HAS A LEVER WHICH MAKES IT EASY. THEN WE HAVE A WHEEL WITH STRAPS OF OLD RUBBER FROM A TIRE OR BLETING THAT TURNS AND SLAPS THE HOG AND TAKES THE HAIR OFF. THE WHEEL IS TURNED BY A 5 HP TILLER MOTOR HOGGED TO AN OLD 4 SPEED TRANS MISSION WORKS GREAT AND IN 10 MINS HOG IS HAIRLESS, MIGHT HAVE TO FINE TUNE A FEW HARD TO REACH PLACES. THESE THINGS ARE ACTUALY MADE AND SOLD, BUT I LOOKED AT ONE AND COPIED THE IDEA.

i have 8 plotts all from orval roberts dogs i love hounds. i have 12 black and tan long eared hounds i run deer with, and 1 plott coon dog.

i have pups on the ground out of orval roberts blood, not what i would call silent but real close to it.
