THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / large galvanized kennel
|
on: August 16, 2013, 07:18:47 pm
|
I am removing this kennel to allow for much needed storage. It is roughly 8 yrs old and shows really no sign of age. The materials used are about as commercial as one could us for this application. The fencing is 6' tall and the kennel is 100% complete despite a few pieces being removed for access. The kennel is divided in half. The total dimensions are 7.5ft wide x 30ft long with 2 sturdy 39" gates. The posts could be removed and reused. This kennel would work sitting on dirt or concrete. The kennel could be modified a bit by adding more gates and dividers. I am asking only $300 which is barely over what I might end up scraping it out for. The price is firm guys as this is really quality stuff that I am wanting to pass on to someone. I will be happy to answer any questions that have not been mentioned, but I cannot not think of more I need to mention. Thanks Travis Reves TReves@verizon.net(281) 385-1174 located in Mont Belvieu Texas (please use google) your more than welcome to come by and check it out

THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Tri Tronics G3 Bark Limiter (2)
|
on: April 17, 2013, 09:49:38 am
|
I am selling 2 bark limiters that are in good condition. I have never had any problems with them and they have been by far the best bark collars I have ever used. Both used for only 3 months. I bought both at TSC for $100 per collar. I am asking $100 plus shipping for both. Travis Reves (281) 543-6434 Mont Belvieu, TX

THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / dog/hog box
|
on: December 28, 2012, 07:52:51 pm

The measurements are 4 wide x 3ft tall(at roof) and 6 ft long. It has a divider in it and is built with 14 guage tubing and hog panel. Both doors and latches operate good. All of the steel and wood was primed and painted with good materials. I would need $200 for it. This would also work great for small FFA/4H projects. It has no floor making it wasy for clean out. THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / YBM started male with DC40 collar
|

I am looking to sell my started young bmc out of proven hog dogs due to the lack of hunting I am able to do and lack of pigs on my places. This is no cull so don't let the price fool ya. I was lucky enough to get this pup with little money spent and want to pay it back somewhat. What he is, is an intelligent well mannered dog with very few bad habits and easy on the eyes as well. He has no dog aggression, doesn't keep you up all night barking, good with kids, and does stay busy while hunting. This dog has seen very few pigs so I will not consider him as a strike dog. I would only like him to go to someone that will use him along side a seasoned dog. I do not want to take advantage of a young or naive hunter that thinks they are getting a one dog pack hog finding machine. This dog is at it's prime learning age and very could easily make a lead dog with a little work. I will let him go for $400 along with a DC40 collar that has been on the dog twice(still have the box). The dog is located in Mont Belvieu 281 543-6434 TReves@verizon.net he is roughly 1.5 years old

I just wanted to say thanks Monty for the generous offer of the pups. It was nice meeting up with you(and crew) finally. Mike and I had a good time despite the unfortunate weather. Did ya'll end up hitting the last ranch?

I agree with above post on Zillas. They are above average in the mud and ride much better on hard surfaces than most mud specific tires.

Very nice rifles guys. I agree purebreedcolt that Nikons are hard to beat for the money. Which barrel feels better yours or the wifes? Any of you have any experience with the 6.5 grendel? I am looking to put one together and let my son shoot it as well but the 20" barrels I like would probaly hurt accuracy.

To each their own, but I never considered the 5.9's to have tons of power. If you plan to do alot of pulling or going with over size tires get the lower rear end dodge. I can only assume you are going with a standard transmission. But if your looking at an auto the ford would be my pick by far.

Welding on anything galvanized will defeat the purpose of using galvanized in the first place. Try to think of a way to affix the panels with galv clips. Have you thought about using cyclone fencing? That way all the hardware is available in galv.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / welding machine for alum tig and mig for carbon steel
|
on: March 27, 2012, 07:44:27 pm

I realize there are other places to get information on welders such as miller or lincoln tech lines, but there seems to be more down to earth folks here. What I have is a miller 210 mig gun that I use a ton. It is in good shape still and they seem to hold there value pretty well. I have thought about selling it and purchasing a sytem that migs as well as my 210 but also has high frequency for aluminum. For this machine I am wanting to stay electric. I have not used the high dollar push pull aluminum spool gun but have used the spoolmate and was never a fan. What would you folks think would be the best route to go and why. I do not want to complicate things more so, but I do have access to a lincoln 250 amp gas machine for stick welding when needed. I am a hobbiest but I definately want something that could be used daily if desired. I would like to keep the price under 3k as well.

Just a suggestion, but you may want to use rope/ mule tape because I lost my trainer pig this weekend on a mock hunt using hobbles. I'm in your same shoes trying to get some young dogs turned on. Where I goofed was when I tried using too big of hobbles that would not stay sinched down. By the time I could run and get the dogs, the pig was gone and I had not had the chance to cast them down wind before it started raining. Good luck to ya.

Thanks MudDog Kennels. David ended up selling me the male pup he was holding back due to the move he is doing. Although they are good dogs, it is the first time for the breeding. Something like what I have is what I am trying to duplicate.
