I'll get some pics for ya, but my partner has an old axle buried in the ground. It has 2 arms on it. 1 holds the dog on a snap and the other has a small cage on it. We put a chicken in the cage to start the puppies on it and a small pig to start the grown dogs. After they run it once or twice you can do away with the chicken/pig and they'll run on there own. Didn't taken em very long to figure it out and now they have a good beaten down track. It works great, he runs em till they slow down and puts another 1 on there by the time you get done with all of em the 1st one is ready again. They work themselves out.
Thats old school right there, but it works great. They are called cat mills or jenny mills

Did you ever get the ped to the sire done? I like tha bottom , very similar to some stuff I have..I am really interested Having a hard time finding the dogs in peds online to get the sire's together. I THINK Mr. Bob may have a photo of Jorge's ped though! Ok, cool.. I really like that bottom half, I have a youngster double bred down from Weed, and a few of my dogs have Frisco/Chinaman blood How you liking that youngster so far? We just buried a daughter of Weed the other day. We have two males off of her, and they are two of the best we've produced. He is coming along quite well..Sorry you lost your dog. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=492416

He's getting a dog that is somewhat safer around other dogs than a well bred sporting dog. Plus he gets a dog he can drop a name on to someone who don't know schat and impress them. I wouldn't give 2 cents for one but I'm not feeding them so he can do what he wants. I've been around a bunch of those big pullin dogs and most of them are not much good for anything else. Most of the Whopper/Chevy dogs were very shy and had there tails tucked during the whole pull. Omar Ross brought one of his 100# Dagger dogs to T-dogs and it run from a hog. Could not get it to get after it.
Couldn't have said it better

If you aint willing to keep them, dont breed them. Too many people breeding just because they know people that are looking for pups. If I dont want it at the time I'm not putting my dog through the stress of having and raising pups just because. I woul rather skip that heat and get her back in the woods
I got a bit off topic because of the other responses. Back to the topic, I have 2 Cat/ Walker crosses but I cant give you much info because I have not had them in the woods yet.
