Bulldogs are hard to work on cattle cause they want to catch anything that moves. Find somebody with a good set of curs that are rough. My dogs catch the ears and nose and it's a done dill. I wished I was closer to ya.

Most of the stuff on the show just makes the bullseye on hog doggers backs just a little bigger. We don't need all that on tv. It does make good entertainment but just don't think it needs to be on tv.

I spent 500 on a big corral style and yet I have I caught a pig. I have tried it on several places that are miles apart . I have a drop gate with a trip wire and only had a few pigs go just inside gate. I would be happy for any suggestions . Thanks

Cow ear tags around the neck. Use small string so if they hang it its easy to break. Works real good I have been using them for years

I have cow and hog dogs some are straight one way or the other and some i use on both. I take pups for straight hogs when they are 6 months old turn them in my cow patch and burn up everyone that that wants to cow and they usually all do. I dont say anything to them just him them a few times wait a couple of weeks and do it again and only a few take more than two times

I use bmc almost everyday on cows and also have a set that i hog hunt with.I try all puppies and see which way they work better and how rangy they are.I dont need a cow dog to get gone as soon as i turn him loose. My dogs wear shock collars and do mind but when i send them to the cows i dont need them leaving the country.I dont mind my cow dogs baying a hog when I am working cows but my hog dogs are all broke off cows.Me personally i like versatile dogs i get some of my best cow dogs from my buddies culls.
