I have 2 live that male & female ( blue tick & BMK) , they are 6 Mo. old . Looks like  are going to be good dogs. I'm working them on coon. They will tree and trail fare good. I don't know about hogs, but they dogs are tough  as a boot. I like them.

Will in Tx they can't use dog for deer and when they stopped them from using the dogs ,they killed the dog.

Has anyone tried crossing african wild dog with a  difference type dog??

What I use is , I mix power sulfur & petroleum jelly and put it on them. Hope this helps.

I'm going to try to hunt them . They will trail and bark on a coon know at 4 1/2 mo. old. I'm waiting until they get a little older and there teeth all come in. I train them every day  when weather let me. I all so have a grown black & tan that is helping me train them.

I have 2 pups 4 1/2 mo. old. The mother was a blue tick & dad was a BMC ( it should be a song there) . The  boy pup is 37 lbs & girl pup is 33 lbs... ?? They have  been gaining 10 lbs a mo..  How big do you think they will get??

I'm looking at 2 type collars, nylon collar or beta collar?? What is the best??

Where is the best place to order the dog supplies?? ( Like garmin 320, collars, leads and other things)

I think people are just having a good time and I like it ( it's fun) is ok. And on the BMC the main thing is the dog hunts.  I have seen hounds with papers that would not hunt and ones with cross bread dog that hunted very good and I know you all have seen that m too.  But is fun to try find out how the BMC came about.

Well I think you would have to watch where you buy the BMC , you may get something that just looks like the BMC.  I have 2 so called blue ticks that the man said were through back . Well checked it out and that are not through backs , but a dog got in the pin , blue tick mother and father The 2 hounds look like a BMC with long ears. ( not saying that won't hunt, only 3 mo old). The man even sent me papers , but I didn't send them in.

It was expalined to me that the first cross to create the BMC began with a bullmastiff male and a black and tan gyp. It was expalined to me that thy crossed these too because of size and cold nose. It also somewhat explains the reverse colorins.

[/img] These are the pups I was talking about , they are half blue tick and ho nose. Look at how long the ears are and the tail come over there back. The mother was a blue tick. Just because they are not full blooded does not mean they want hunt later.

I think the pups that I got may have some red bone hound in them, that is what they look like and sound like . You do have some very nice looking hounds there. And I don't know about the lab thing?? I just didn't know if they could have a through back t some blue ticks??

The man said that they are UCK registered , but I am with you I didn't think they were full blue ticks. I did get 2 pups , they are red brown with long ears , 9 weeks old . I only gave $50 each. They look like they may make a good hound??? I just wanted to try them ( I didn't get any papers) . The papers will not make them hunt any better, but don't think it is right to try to pass off a dog like that. Thanks.
