1  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Re: Savage Model 116 .300 Ultra Mag for Sale on: January 16, 2009, 07:56:49 am
Thanks for the response.  I still haven't gotten pics of it (girlfriend lost the cord to the camera) but I can assure you that there is not a scratch on this gun.  There is one little one on the scope sun shade but it is minor and is not on the actual scope.

This gun looks, and almost is, brand new.

I have a couple of interested parties interested at $400 for the rifle alone, but I would really like to sell it as a package.

Price is lowered to $500.

I have a Savage Model 116 FSS chambered in .300 Ultra Mag that I would like to sell.  It has a synthetic stock, and stainless steel barrel.  It comes with a Simmons AETEC 2.8 X 10 scope (reviews of the scope here: http://www.hunting-fishing-gear.com/review-display/577.html).  It also has a hard case, rubber strap and all original manuals.

This gun has been fired around 30 times and was always cleaned and oiled afterward.  I reloaded the rounds, and have 4 ready to go and the casings for the others.  I do not have the reloading dies anymore.

I have done some research and found this rifle going for around $900 (with a Nikon scope, not a Simmons AETEC). I am asking $550 or best offer.

You can contact me at josh.luse@grandecom.net.  I am located just north of Dallas in Plano, but can meet.

EDIT: I thought it was a Model 110.  But it is a 116.  I haven't shot it in almost 2 years and haven't opened the hard case in awhile.
