I believe that it was just a fad like everything else. You will always have people come and go just like everything else. I have hunted with dogs all my life in some form or fashion and for some of us it will always be who we are. It's also getting harder and harder to find places to go that allow dogs. Which makes it very frustrating.

Be careful. Not all information is good information. Just like MikeJC said get permission from surrounding neighbors. Doesn't take but a couple minutes for a good dog to cover 10 acres and be gone. Also hogs are scavengers they travel where ever there is food.

Colecross those were the good old days. Unfortunately they are gone I would do just about anything to get them back.

I believe I had " the right attitude"... I am a hog hunter and don't need to prove anything. I hunt my dogs a certain way and that is the only way I will hunt them. Too many people, too many dogs and too many buggies is just not my way.
