Blood is a 1/2 Yellow Cur and 1/2 Cat. Male 2 1/2 yrs old. Asking a $1000 FIRM No Trades will be considered. Tigger is a Yellow Brindle Cur Male 1 1/2 yrs old. Asking $500 FIRM No Trades will be considered. Really not looking forward to letting these dogs go Blood has turned on in the woods so well and finds he's own hog and Tigger although just started has shown great potential and cuts the woods up hanging with my older dogs. But it the nature of the business and Im making room for a Cur cross litter that I just had on the 20th. Will send picture via email thirdcoasthogdog@yahoo.com if interested. Who has been having better turn outs with catching hogs... Morning hunts, Evening hunt, or Day time hunts? Myself I prefer a good Morning hunt right around 4 hr till day light. Its were we've had are best turn out and when I say that we've managed to catch one or two every time (knock on wood). Other then that I rather hunt during the daylight your at your best advantage I believe, but last time I've been able to do so was a couple months back before all this heat rolled in. Ive started two female Pits catch dogs caught only in the pen on a bayed hog. Both are going on right at a yr old and average about 40+ lbs. One is Brown/White she handles great catches hard on head and is not dog agressive and the other is a Blue (have her papers if wanted) she walks good but is alil shy at times, catches on ear and is not dog aggressive. (1) Wolfhound/Dogo/Pit/Yellow Cur Cross Gyp (Pepper)
(1) 3/4 Yellow Cur 1/4 Pit Gyp (Blondie)
(1) Brindle Yellow Cur Stud (Tigger)
(1) Amercian Pitbull Stud orginal Gator Bloodline (Boss)
I only hunt in pairs of twos and threes a one catch so I have a pretty well rounded pack to pull from I believe.
