He's about three years old and been on tons of hogs. We have had him since he was a pup. I would consider him an excellent help dog that is super-fast and will stop a runner. Helps catch and doesn't back off a pig. Real easy to handle with no aggression. Rides in box with other dogs. Not a cull! 3 yr. old 1/2 Greyhound 1/2 Walkerhound. This dog can fly like the wind and will stop a runner! He's all over a pig once the catch dog gets a hold and will grab a smaller one himself. Not needing to get rid of him, but I'm willing to if the price is right so we can make room for pups we're training. My #1 Strike Dog (Dixie- 3/4 Cat, 1/4 BMC) has had her first litter of pups and is doing a bang up job raising them! She's bred to our super gritty 3/4 Cat, 1/4 Mt. Cur (Dan).

Dixie is a pig finding dog! Brindle with blue eyes! She hunts hard, ranges out close to a mile at times, and always circles back to check in. Super gentle and easy to handle. If I needed a lap dog, she'd make a great one! Went hunting without her two nights ago and it was the first time we haven't struck hogs on this property. Let's me know for sure who's been getting us on pigs. She's silent unless she's looking one in the face. She's smart and won't try to grab them.

Dan is a balls-to-the wall go-getter! Black with brown trim. He and a small terrier we used to have ran a herd of 25 pigs over two miles and kept them bayed for about 8 hours until some deer hunters found them for us. Most of the pigs that are too torn up to sell are because Dan was on them.

These are probably the two most high energy dogs we have and this litter should be top notch! 4 males & 4 females. Pups will be ready June 15th. $100 for males, $150 for females. $200 for the leopard spotted and brindle females (Don't really want to let them go- looks like their eyes are gonna be blue like Dixie's) $50 deposit will hold your choice.
