1  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: BullyPit Hybrid: My future CD on: November 17, 2015, 09:21:00 pm
Great looking bulldog.  I like the cross.  I made a similar cross years back and had great success with a couple.  Took the male out of that breeding and now have crossed him back to a full working AB standard female from old hines line bulldogs.

American Legendz Blaze (Battle cross bulldog off Blackrocks CH. Comino   X  American Legendz Sidney of the Stouts)

Cross Blaze to the full AB below

American Legendz Ghost killa (full AB off Old Hines line bulldogs)

3 pups came out looking like full old school AB and the other 5 look like their Grand daddy CH. Cominio

good luck with your pup.  Should be a great addition to your pack.

I think that's a cool program.  A lot of AB people get all bent out of shape about crossing two different bull breeds together.  I think you guys have worked your dogs and just bred best to best.  Nice that you had the sense to breed nice animals.

Curious what bulldogs are behind you Captain Morgan bulldog?  Is he hybrid or standard lines?

Nice job hope you keep turning out working dogs and you get what your looking for out of your program.

This was the leclerec females sire.

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/american_bulldog/dog.html?id=911820-leclercs-ringo

He was a big performance male so she came out with his large structure.  She was very lean though and my Margentina Dirty male reminds me a lot of Nita.  LONG LEGGED AND LEAN MUSCLE but large structure.

On a side note I actually like bulldogs in the 70 lb range.  Just my like.
6  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: PERFORMANCE AM. BULLDOGS ????? on: August 31, 2015, 02:32:40 pm
This female was easy 85 lbs and ripped and conditioned.  She was pure performance as defined by AB folks and from Steve Leclerec stock.

This female was also on my yard and was not as long legged but still conditioned at 85 lbs or so.  She was thick and was Hines stock.  Gary this one was from one of your old dogs.  (Tetris)

I have 2 right now that are in that 85 lb range with no bully and are straight standard lines.  One is from Britts stock CICI.  She comes from Big standard bulldogs Britt's been working with for a long time.  Mostly Hines Stock behind her.  I need to take an updated pic of her.  IO is pretty thick and I'm not sure what she weighs but I figure its about 80 plus lbs.  What do you think Britt?

We can help u with that redriverslim.  I have all those blood lines-hines, stover, margentina, Dorsey, Koura/leclerec.  Britt and I have stuck with hines stuff for the CD line with a bit of outcrosses to some boss hog blood which goes back to Rayburn and Bill Hines dogs.

I have experimented with Hines to Koura/Leclerec dogs I have from pure Performance blood via Hal coming from Steve Leclerec yard. Have one in East Texas with Britts buddy doing well.

Dirty is very leggy and been tested a bit but not a finish catch dog by any means. He's use for more Guard dog duty on our properties and business in the valley.  Like I said he will work but CD is not his responsibility so he's not a woods dog.  I will breed him soon to one of my hines bitches.  If you wanna try one out just give me a holler and I'd be happy to work it out with you.  I'm confident in the bulldogs we have produce the last 20 years that I'm willing to put them in the right hands to get tested and push to the absolute limits.

as far as danny goes he is on facebook.  I don't know if he's still in dogs.  I haven't spoken with him for about 2 years.  I sent the white bulldog I had from his breeding to Myles.  Myles bred her to a hybrid American bulldog some time back.

hate to speak for anyone but I know pastor mark and he's always willing to workout deals with hog hunters and people who work their bulldogs.  I'm sure if you speak to him he would work out a nice working deal with u.  He's a very reasonable man.

Pastor Mark is as honest as they come.  He has some nice foundational bulldogs.  Stevenson's Jet has that boss hog blood and is a real nice male.

I still got some stuff straight from the margentinas out on the yard.  I just messaged mike and Patti couple days ago so we keep tabs with each other often and some Fred stuff is always available in the future Myles.  I'm going to breed dirty to some other performance family blood soon so stay tune.  Got one in east Texas catching bad hogs and is a brindle monster.
13  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Update on Canelo out of American ledgenz on: September 10, 2014, 07:00:02 pm
Hey I'm proud to say both u guys have my dogs in ur hunting program.!!! Sammy and Mike have done a great job working canelo.  Myles that's a special girl and the last of her litter. It was hard parting with her but when i got her back i knew needed to be in a hunting program and bred for that. She's got some rare performance  blood from my friends the Margentinas in Chicago. If we can get canelo to lock up with her it be a good line breeding..    Again appreciate both ur programs and efforts in working with me. Hope to send mike one out of Sidney x chopper which should be dropping in the next week

Thanks they are taking her back to do one breeding but in the future wouldn't mind taking her to some hog catching CDs with similar bloodlines.

Here's one out of Ghost Rider x Southie from the first litter years ago that I really like.

This is the pup I want Canelo to replace cause he was the closest to me I could use.  The folks who had this boy worked him well but lost him young.  They have a litter mate sister to canelo but I haven't spoken to them recently.
18  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Canelo out of American ledgendz on: April 16, 2014, 01:04:07 pm
Looks good brother!! I just got the pick from Mike earlier today.  I'll call u guys soon about a possible female or two that my friend wants to send out.  Good stock.

Myles the mother to Canelo is my Southie bulldog.  She's a hard line female with dominance and tested some in the past.  She isn't a woods bulldog and I've bred her twice to the same dog Ghost which is the dog Sammy posted up.  She's done produce some good ones in the woods.  I think the guy u told me about had one from the previous breeding but he didn't like the size.  He wanted something a little bigger.  Some people like them big others smaller.

Here's a pic of Southie right after she had Canelo.

Yes sir anyway I can help you out just send me a pm.  Mr. Don and Scott are definetly great resources and have some great blood.  I just try and do my part to keep good bulldogs going for my yard and friends.  I too like the brindle lines and really wanted some color to outcross to so I did the breeding and going to work through the litter and pick the best to keep in the outcross line.  I'll keep u posted on the progress.
20  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Catchdog Options other than Pit on: March 18, 2014, 09:18:03 am
Grin  Thanks josh.  I like to stay under the radar myself. lol   Really try to get the dogs with good folks like yourself and the other hunters I work with over the years.  Really Britt Garcia and Americanlegendz can be used interchangeably now with the hog catching line we are using.  I only work with Britt now when it comes to the hog catching hines line we have been working on for the last several years.  I recommend you check with the other dudes mention above.  All good lines and working there dogs to the fullest.  If I can help anyone out I'm always willilng to try my hardest to do my part.
