I have 2 Plott hound gyps. One is 5 the other is 6. Open on track. Will go out and hunt anywhere from 100 to 500 yards. The reason I wouldn't say they are finished is because they will bay armadillos. And they won't stop. Maybe you can get them to. I don't know. I'm being honest when I say that they hunt. Medium range dog (150-300yds), open (the reason I'm selling him), gritty on the ass end and plays a smart and protective defense to prevent getting cut. The pigs where I hunt have been dogged a bit and I need silent dogs to sneak up and make the bay. He's 4 years old, still intact, trash broke, and will bay a pig. I'm selling my open dogs. Want to go 100% silent. 1. Two Plott hound gyps, trash broke, long range, OPEN, you will need a gps for these dogs, but other than the fact that they are open there is nothing wrong with them. Can wind a pig from the bed of a truck and can run next to you. $500 a piece or trade for long range silent dogs 2. I have 2 Plott hound gyps. Both open. Trash broke, long range, loose baying, real deal. Also have 1 redbone bluetick, open, medium- short range, grittier, but smart, real deal. These are my only three dogs. I no longer hog hunt and don't want them to go to waste. I've started rodeoing and will trade for a papered head horse, or 4 fresh roping steers. I have A redbone male, finished, Open, 3 years old, trash broke, and WILL NOT WORK WORTH A number 2 IN THE BAY PEN. but he will hunt in the woods. He ranges around 800 yards. $400. No trial. I have a catahoula cross with a bmc, finished bay male. 3 years old, silent on track, will stick with a runner, 200-900 yards, will not stay under you. $600 without trial $800 with. Real good looking dog. Trash broke. And will not let you down. Great lead dog. Sold. Pick up pending. I have a redboneXblue tick, 2 years old, semi open, short range until he strikes then he's gone, good all around dog. $500 without $700 with. Red pit. Will catch and if he doesn't he won't give up, 70lbs, short, ABSOLUTELY no aggression towards people or dogs.
