I've owned all kinds of dogs but never owned a blue lacy and I'm curious on what true well bred lacys are all abou n I'm sure there plenty on old timers on here that know there stuff n most likely could give a tip or 2 on the breeds training etc. so if anyone knows there lacys nd don't mind typing a bit please take some time too share please and thank you

i'm looking for a very well started or close to finished blue lacy strike dog i prefer it to be registered bc i want to get into breeding at some point but nun the less i would like the dog to be gritty almost catchy just bc thas my preference but one that gets gritty and backs off will be considered i would like the dog to be trash broke and within a fw hours drive form dfw metroplex i would also wanna see the dog run solo or with my help dog to see if hell work with my pack and is dependable no ofense just not goiing to get screwed again or a trial will be fine also will pay good money for the right dog but if your gonna ask over 1500 dont bc i'm not gonna pay tht high for any dog jsut not in me sorry i know people disagree but thats just not justifyable to myself knowing he can be killed on any hunt but if you might have sum send pics and info to JD @ 214-229-6888 OR MY EMAIL HERRERA_JD@YMAIL.COM

  So I loaded up this morning and took my lead dog and a pit I'm tryin to get re interested in hogs (story for another time )   Mike ( Kemmer cur 2 yr) n loaded up we joined up with some buddies and hit the property dropped dogs and 30 minutes went by n dogs struck a small sounder n we had dogs every which way well mike decided he was gonna run this one down he chased that Lil boar bout 500 yds or so after they broke well everybody splits up n heads to te dogs with there catch dogs had 3 bays going on at once I head to mike n hear pig screaming so I out it in high gear n got to him as fast as I could hobbled this one up ima smoker so not gonna lie after my Lil jog wrestling match and much needed adrenaline rush I say down for a breather n then went on the rest of the day to catch 2 more decent hogs n 3 piglets great day n big pat on the back to my best dog/friend Mike

I usually hunt once or twice on a weekend but if boss lady will allow I might start Huntin one night during the week to work young pups a lil more got a litter of 3/4 bmc 1/4 Airedales on the ground thinkin bout possibly keepin couple n supposed to be gettin to Kemmer pups outta good dogs really excited to see if that pulls through

Yea your prolly right Aussie just what I want I plan on moving soon and the land changes n becomes flatter instead of thickets and brush like where I'm at now that's the reason I wana go with a wolfhound so they can cover ground fast pitbulls are athletic and great for catch dogs that's what I run now not knocking the breed at all but I've had em all my life n can't seem to recall very many that I could call smart I feel there to dependent on their owners I want a cross that's had dogs on Botha side that were bred to think independtly from there owners ya know what I mean?

Thanks guys all your input was greatly appreciated but I'm still stuck on wolfhound/gsp for my cross bc I want a rather large dog with great speed and endurance but a hot nose that could handle holding a hog alone or with one other dog
