Has anyone been on a hunting club i found one out in the bandera/kerrville area. It seems to be a nice deal I'm just not sure about not having my own designated spot to hunt. They do have cabins that you pay a per night fee. They have two options either 15 day or 30 days of hunting for a set price no kill fees. There are whitetail and exotics and its broken out into six different ranches. All of which are big acreage. I was thinking of trying this out for spending alot of money on a deer lease. Does anybody have any experience with hunting clubs of have any advice. It is just one of those things that is kinda too good to be true. The only thing that really sounds good is the medina river runs threw all the ranches so its a good little getaway spot to go and float the river. So if anyone has any advice please let me know thanks.

I am interested in buying a good used 4-wheeler anything from 2005 and on up I would say. I priced a new kawasaki 360 praire but if I can find  a good used one I would buy one. Im looking for something in that 400cc-500cc nothing much bigger than that. In my opinion thats just to much bike for the woods. Im not really brand specific except polaris. I'm thinking of just buying a new one, but if anyone has a good used one I may consider buying a used one. Please let me know if anyone has anything like that.

This is the toyota truck Brent and I just bought for hunting.

We decided to head out this morning and make a long morning hunt at a big 3,000 acre place we have to hunt. My buddy Brent(bmichalak) and myself headed out with our dogs and a few other friends. The morning  started off slow we saw plenty of tracks, but the dogs just couldn't get on em. We were about to call it quits and head back home. We were working about a 300 acre block of woods when this big guy came out of the yegua. He ran in front of us about 30 yards and right to the dogs who were about 50 yards in the woods at the time. Brents Bo dog got him slowed down and caught and the rest of the dogs came in and helped Bo out to get this one caught. He had some nice short and sharp dog cutters on him. Only brents catahoula dog was cut twice, but they just cut the skin luckily.

All loaded up bout to head home. This is the toyota Brent and I just bought for hunting.

My hunting partner and I just bought a 91 model toyota single cab pickup for hunting. We are looking for some 15 inch tires with some decent tread. Do not have to be brand new but would like some with 50% tread left on them. Would prefer mud terrain because the place we normally hunt stays muddy quite a bit after a good rain, but might consider all-terrains depending on if anybody has any. I have a few items for sale. I got some front replacement bumpers for my truck. I have a front stock bumper off a 2006 Chevy 3/4 ton truck. I am asking 175.00 for the bumper. Yea me and BMichalak would like to know about that too. We go to school up at Sam and we would take different pups up there during the week to work our dogs and give us something to do so we wouldnt be bored lol. If anyone knows what happened I'd sure like to know. They had a good setup out there. The only thing I am going to say was the last time we were out there it sounded like some partnerships. So not to get into anyones business but that is my .02 since I believe me and Bmichalak were the lasts one out there.

Well I took that pup of mine hunting that I posted about early in the week with BMichalak and some other buddies of ours. I do not think it could have went any better. We hunted a big place (3000 acres) yesterday afternoon. At first I kept him in the jeep but we were not striking on anything so i figured i would let him run and get some exercise. Well right at dark BMichalaks dogs bo and pearl was treed on the garmin so we knew he had one caught. Well I was watching my pup to see what he would and do and as soon as he heard this going on and saw the other dogs leave out he took off to the hog. When I got there my pup wasnt caught but he sure was baying him up. I personally think it could not have went any better. We ended up with a good boar about 175-185. BMichalak has the pictures which I am sure he will post later.

My young  bmc cur/catahoula pup turned six months the other day.  I was thinking about letting him run with the pack this weekend when we go hunting. I myself just getting started in hog hunting with dogs I was wanting to see what other opinions are on the matter letting them run with the pack that young still?

Try your local meat market we bought some to store deer corn in when we bought corn in bulk from a local farmer. The ones we got contained sausage casings and came with a lid. Not saying there are going to be as cheap but we got 3 of them for $25.00. Good luck
