I have 2 half pit half blueticks. One is a working little dog always working the ground independent needs to be trash broke yips when he gets on it's tail or in a bind will make a hell of a dog if u have the time to work with him. The other sticks closer to the truck but will venture out when there is a dog barking hasn't been worked with as much as the other one. These have potential to be good dogs or I wouldn't waste my time trying to get rid of them id just put em away and be done with it. 8 month old pit bluetick cross. Good looking dog sticks close to the truck when I take him hunting but he is young. Showed him a pig when he was 4 months old and he would bay it but I haven't showed him one in a while but I'm sure he would still bay it. Helps kills coons and varmints with my yard dogs all the time. I'm afraid he is gonna yip on a track so I'm getting rid of him. I've got 2 8 month old pit blue ticks. Dad(bluetick) is pushing 100lbs  and the mom weighs around 50 55. One of them is a hunting little booger been in the woods a handful of times and he stays busy just doesn't know what he is supposed to be looking for yet so he finds everything independent does his own thing he doesn't care, the other one sticks close to the truck. I'm getting rid of them cuz I'm afraid they're gonna yip on a track and where I hunt that'll never work. If u don't mind an open dog they'll make good dogs. Got a 8 month old bmc/jack russel will bark at a pig just don't stay at it unless u slap it and tell him to get it and sticks around the truck when I take him hunting, also got 2 supposed to be blue tick pits but they're too short legged to me last time I showed them a pig they barked at it and knipped at it they're 4 or 5 months old one male one female.
