Its been a while since I checked in, so this may have been discussed.  Today they confirmed that 10 dogs died after catching a hog in Sevier County Arkansas.  Test conducted in Iowa confirmed it was pseudorabies.  That is De Queen, close to the Texas border for those who don't know.  Thought I would put that out there.  The South West Arkansas area has been getting hit pretty hard.  Hope y'all stay lucky.  The entire article can be viewed at ArkansasMatters. Has anyone had problems with their 320 not powering on and off.  When it FINALLY powers up it has issues powering off.??

Its a good time. Really more of a penning competition like with the Border Collies.  Some great dogs there that people have spent alot of time with. Gamey hogs. As described by Reuben, the dog teams are penalized for a "catch". Mininal turn out from the "bunny huggers" last year. There are dogs sold there, alot of vendors who sell gear (cut vest, collars, leashes, hobbles, tracking systems and every T-shirt you can imagine).  Last year there were some "celebrity" appearances from The Pig Man and the cast from American Hoggers. Biggest redneck event Ive ever been to......right up my alley. Hope that helps dodgegirl.

A monkey?!  That is weird.

Blew my mind.  Been in the woods a long time and never saw a sign.  Do alot of flying in a chopper as well.  Hogs, deer, coyotes and little cats.  Never that.  I am now a believer.  His dad quit hunting that lease.  It is near the dump ground in Marion County.

Come see me buddy!  Wright Patman Lake Corps of Engineers.  Will put you and the wife up for a couple of days.  Don't bring anything you really like.  The hogs drown them regularly if they are vested.  Water every quarter mile.  There are some bruins in there.

The vet or buy some Quick Clot.  You need to have some in the field anyway.  It will save a badly cut dog.  It is high but worth it if you have a good investment out there with you.  Good luck.  P.S. You get cut bad in the field and it will save you.................

My buddy is Chris Barker.  Don't know what his friends name was.  He was shot not bayed.  Taken by the Louisiana line in Cass County.  I have hunted that area and the hogs are large.  Best thing is they are not all that dog shy.  This would have been interesting for the Dogos. Like I said, wish I could claim him.

Don't be scared. If they can catch like the Dam you will be blown away! T.Wilbanks you are SOOOOOO right about being cheaper to cull.  Small fortune invested in Dogos here.  Daingerfield huh?  You need one again.  I'm right around the corner.  You can see the dam in action.  As for the Sire, I just cant muster enough nerve to risk gambling $2,220.00.  Give me a year and I will have sure enough full blood Dogos WORKING.  Not in the show ring.  Come see me!
