i had a boy we was coon hunting and dogs started tearin it up he sayed his old dog was treed we started hearin squealin his dog was gettin chased by a 30 pound sholt lol i was laughin he never came back hunting with me again

yea i been trying to make me a set of hobbles and i thought about that is why i was asking i am new and what i think might work i am sure someone esle has tryed and failed but thanks yall for the help keep the tips coming if you dont mine

i was thinking about making a collar out of that too i got someone bringing me a tow strap i am taking that and doing two rounds puting metal eylets to tye it and put a thick leather 3 inch wide spiked collar n the outside and sew it to the strap and snap in on there so if the hog goes to bite he gettin stuck

My redbone is the same way i feed him 4 pounds of feed a day and he will eat it all and i worm him 2 a month with safe guard enuff for 300 pound yearling and he wont gain no weight

3/4 aussie shepperd 1/4 plott dog would he be worth training to be a caugh dog and i been trying to horse trade for me a boar knife i got a scrade golden spike knife i hope will get me by if not i got a colt 38 special for the stubborn hogs  lol if all esle fails a mosin naget lol does anyone have any pics of the homemade cut collars

hey yall i am new to hog hunting and i have been a coon hunter all of my life coons have been killed out and hogs are taking over so i been fooling with my 3 out of my 4 coon dogs on hogs i got a big redbone he fought a hog for over 1 hour by his self  in the hog pens he will bay the heck out of them and try to caught them next dog i been fooling with is a Walker/cur cross she is super quick and grabs the ear and a smokey river bluetick that will hit the nuts when the hogs get spining does anyone got any training tips to help me and know where the cheapest cut collars or vest are i am unenployed and cant afford much any kind of tips will help thanks
