It is a disappointment that these guys and their terrible dogs are representing the hog hunters everywhere!!!! Their dogs couldn't find a hog unless it had a light on it and one couldn't even do it with the light shined right on it!!!! Haha too funny!!!

HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: mange puppies

It looks like is "red mange" won't show up in all pups- the female is the carrier- it is passed on through genes and is non cureable. I went through the same thing several yrs back and put all pups down and fixed the female!! Don't want this gene passed on! But u should have it checked by vet to make sure! It can be managed with several out breaks here and there- some worse than others! Good luck......

HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / 3 legs

Picked my good cat male up from the vet today,a week ago was hit in the left hind leg and dislocated it below the knee(hock on a horse) reset the leg and 4 days later wasn't doin good I took him back, the blood vessels were crushed and blood circulation was poor at best! They removed the leg just below the hip yesterday! My question: I have seen good cow dogs go on and still work, but what about a strike/bay dog? I know he still will have the hunt, but the ability to move on a bay- not sure! Has anyone gone through this besides me??
