I have two ridgeback /cur crosses that are a yr old both males both red in color and have big ridges dwn there backs. they will bark and catch in a pin. Havent put them in the woods yet but they should make some dang good running catch dogs. They arent finished by no means but they will work a hog in a pen and catch it as well. I have two yr old ridgeback/cur crosses both r pretty rough on pigs havent had them in the woods but they r ready to go to the woods.  I have had them in a bay pen multiple times and they will catch a small hog and they will try a big hog as well they should make running catch dogs or rough bay dogs.  I just dnt have the time to finish them cause i am gonna be having a litter of NALC pups here in a month or so. We have 3 boys and 2 girls 2 weeks old Thursday the mom is full blood bmc and the dad is leopard hound gsp cross. Mom is a rough bay dog hasn't struck anything yet but will seperate a hog and run it as long as she has to to get it stopped. The dad IS  a long range strike dog one of our main dogs.
