Dallas the young man told me she was a reverse cur but she must be half Jäger terrier. She has long hair, color, ears, bark and prey drive of a jäger terrier.

I let them pups and young dogs hunt what ever they won't. They will figure out what you won't them to do soon enough. If it becomes a problem then they will get some shock therapy.

This little dog was a cull to a young man because see would not bark at a hog at six months of age. He give her to me and she is hell on wheels. She will work cows, tree squirrels and bay hogs. I haven't tried her on coons but if she catches one on the ground he won't last long. She took a hog track over two miles last week and caught a shoat. Saturday she was hanging off a big sow dragging her through the woods. She has no training. She will just figure out what I won't her to do and do it. She is a true meat dog. But she can be a lap dog too. She will ride all day with me on the tractor and will get mad if I don't let her ride with me. I think if I was to asker her to catch me a grizzly bear she would. I have only owned one other dog like this in my live time and I have been around for a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

The SBMBA is simply a registry. It works off the honor system as well as the other registry's and has many lines of BMC's within it. And yes there are a lot of FBMCBO dogs within this registry and the UKC. Why? Because you can not bring any other dogs into the FBMCBO registry per there rules. So if you breed to a dog from another registry you will have to use another registry to record your pedigree. And there are other reasons too but I am not going there. With that being said the SBMBA has a good mix of many lines of BMC's within it.

Myles, most of my dogs are foundation bred but I do have some that are from Gary Bell out of Bells Montana and out of Jimmy Hills Missy. And the last pic is a female pup out of my foundation male Clyde crossed with Bells Daisy. Daisy is out of Montana/Missy. That is looking like a awesome cross! And that is not a river but a little pond in my back yard. Lol

I have been told that TSL Delight was a Mountain Cur. And that came from a reliable source. So if you have a bobtailed foundation dog trace it back to see if it goes back to Delight. Her blood is in a lot of Foundation dogs.

I am lucky that I have a vet that I have been friends with since we where children. She takes damn good care of my animals when needed and will give me just about any thing I ask for. But I have a young vet just down the road from me and she will not give me much with out seeing the animal first. But I am working on her so maybe she will come around soon? Lol

Well this defiantly looks like a lion kill. They kill by crushing the wind pipe. They will bite only one time in the throat because the do not have to re-grip. They are a precise killing machine. They do not always cover up there kill or eat it. A lot of times a male will kill for the fun and just leave it for the scavenger's to eat. Also the mother will do the same thing when she is teaching her young to hunt. I also showed a good friend the pictures and he said it sure looked like a lion kill to him also. He has been hunting loins since he was big enough to follow his father through the mountain's of Colorado in pursuit of lions. He is one hell of a hounds man!
