Friday night, we only ran my 2 bay dogs and had our lead in catchdog because our RCD got cut down. Anyways we were headed for the feeder which is about 100 yds from the gate where we dropped em. My 10 month old pup hit the teach first and my other dog rite behind him. They bayed up so we started towards them with the catch dog. Got within 20 yds or so and cut him loose. We didn't hear anything but the pig bustin up the brush, he broke rite before our catchdog got there and hauled ass!! He crossed the road rite in front of us and I number 2 you not he's the biggest pig I've even seen.

The dogs were about 10 yds behind him and our catchdog came back to us we snapped a lead on him and the dogs bayed up again in this nasty thick brush. Needless to say he broke again and this happened 6 times that night, the last time he broke he decided he'd had enough of the dogs and cut both my bay dogs down pretty bad!! We're going again this weekend to try and get him

They move in packs and will tear your dogs up!! Been through it in Nixon, Tx before. You don't want to mess with them at all.

Who runs them as hog dogs?? Can y'all face me any kind of info y'all have on em? How they hun? What you like or don't like?

I've got a 9 month old 1/2 Kemmer 1/2 BMC and he struck his first pig at 8 months old he's a really good dog, I'm gettin 2 of the same cross but they're only 12 weeks old have high hopes for them

I like to feed my puppies with purina puppy chow till they turn 4 , 5 months @ 6 I gradually change to sport mix . Been doing that forever and great results. Smart and healthy dogs around. Good deworming schedule is very important as well as a good dog food .

what do you use to work them? Our feed store sells a pill that I crush up in there food

Sports mix puppy untill 4 months. I add calf milk replacer and warm water.

Thank you ill try that, our local feed store sells all kinda of sports mix so I guess I'll just look for the puppy one

I usually keep my pups on puppy feed till they are 3-4 months...then whatever I feed the big dogs.

What feed do you feed em until they're 3-4 months old?

What kind of dry food do y'all tart y'alls pups on? Do y'all feed em the same you feed your grown dogs??
I feed my adult dogs sports mix 26/18 should I just feed my pups that too there 10 weeks?
