both are crossed up an outta same line .. Male (Rip) is going on 2 years old this july . Hes cat/bmc/hound/pit would say short range dog would be great for walk hunting ... averages about 300 yards , honors EVERY bay. once catch dog hits , hes caught too. ROUGH as a cob for the most part .. got him around a year ago and first time i took em we ended up catching 9 and he was de nutted by a boar hog. so yea ... he has no testicles. Female ( DD) coming on 11 months right now . should turn out to be a heck of a dog .. shes been ever since she was 8 months . hasnt struck her own yet but from day one she was ranging anywhere from opening the gate to the trailer to .67.. she aint afraid to RUN without lookin back lol been on multiple hogs in the woods. will honor a bay. i will say weve had some split bays and they end up close to each other and she got a lil confused on what to do so she would go back an forth to both bays .. <<<---- only negative about this dog that ive seen .. im a 19 year ol boy who jus got outta highschool and now im workin 6 days a week from sunrise to sunset lol and i jus have no time at all anymore an its hard to keep a pack together especially when u have no place to keep em .. thats why these two are for sell . my parents that was letting me keep them on their land sold , so now they have nowhere to go .. so please if interested you have to promise for them to be taken care of as if they was your own kid !!! must go to good hunting home !! contact me about prices at 903 434 2804 or tyler.hutchings@bigtextrailers.com

my dad my cousin a guy that lived with us and me were huntin the forest one day and we come up beside our property and as we go up on a hill we all heard this really loud scream that sounded like a woman . it spooked us and the dogs and the dogs run into the forest and so did my dad and cousin but they couldnt find nothing . that was when i was 13 3 years later me and my mate were driving through teh forest and heard a girl scream its pretty spooky .. we never seen nothing but it was scary . the wierdest thing i ever seen on the forest tho was when me and my cousin were riding motorbikes and he rode past a water holr and as i was riding up to it this thing walked across the road it was on two feet about 6 and a half foot tall and it had really long arms that went down to about its knees . looked alot like a human except the arms were longer.
Do You live around east texas ? We have a buttload of panthers that sound like that

I think every dog u sell needs to be if it dont satisfy the person then they can bring it back in same shape you should refund them their money .. now if its like my case was and the dude waits 4 weeks then tryes to bring him back ... no ... i usually give all 2 week trials on the dogs i sell .. starting from 6 months and up ... now i have had to give some money back to a guy one time .. but hey if i was in the same shoes where the dog didnt work for me .. i would like to get the same respect i give to others. jus th eguy i am ... Theres a handfull of good guys and gals on here ... but some also have two faces ..

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Healing up wounds.. Opinions

I hunt with my brother. As you know all brothers have a disagreements. He brought out his started strike that's been goin good. So anyways he got cut under his leg right in the groin. About 3" away from his Johnson. So I took him home got him stapled up cleaned out and all ready to heal up left a little space for pus to drip out the back and did what I was taught to do by people that have been in this sport for 20years. The cut is about 5" good cut. His dog is hard headed and has a history of pulling out staples. So I told him that he needed to put a cone on him the next day and make sure that he was doing good. Give him 3-4 days of pencilin and b-12 vitamins and spray vetricin in that hole every day so he doesn't get infected. So in his infinite wisdom doesn't listen to me. So I go over to just check up on the dog today and find him all laid up can't walk and the cut laid wide open. I called him talked to him and he said that I didnt know what I was talking about and it's better to leave a cut wide open so the dog can lick it. And that he's doing alright do he doesnt need the pencilin. So I just left the dog to suffer the way he wants it to. He expects the dog to be better in twoweeks. I told him leaving the dog all open it would take atleast another month if not more to be able to go out again.
So my question to y'all... What approach would yall have taken..? *just wondering if I'm the only one that doctors up my dogs like that.
Ive had the same thing happen to mine , sounds like in the same spot also.. I stapled him up and put a tiny drain tube at the end of his cut .. gave him a cc of penn. a day and jus ran a water house on full blast on the cut for a good five minutes .. healed up really good within two weeks

I run all females on my bay dogs , I have four and rotate them hunting most of the time , I tried a male that was line bred from the same blood line but all he had on his mind was the girls , I gave him away at 2 , I ran beagles years ago and liked the females and now still have females , I have two male cds And they are usually on a lead ,I personally think that a female isn't as hard headed and learns faster and not to bash males because there is just as good males as females just a mans preference , my last pup is now three ,bmc female , I told her that this was the year for the team or the cut , I guess she was listening because she's been really hunting good and I guess a little slow to mature from what I read on the web but sure glad I stuck it out with her
see the reason i am gettin a all female pack is because most ppl i hunt with has nearly all females

I used too, biggest downside is if you hunt with someone else and your gyps are in, one of ya aint bringin nothin.
well see what it is, is that all mine are pups except i got my old finished gyp thats around 5 every thing else is 2 (7month old ) littermate sisters and my 17 mo old male that was de-nutted by a bad boar when he was 14 months .. so i dont have a butt load of dogs its jus i want to get a pack that will be together for a long time .

got my last male i am wanting to get rid of.. Big bodied , LOTs of legg around 50 pounds or so right now. Well started , nothing spectacular but he will get the job done . Will stay step fpr step with your lead dog . not gritty by himself but will grab some hair on a runner .. Will role back out if commanded after hog is caught and hobbled.. now he has not struck a hog over our other lead dogs but he does have a nose on him . He is making bigger strides every time he is taken to the woods . With time i have no doubt he can be a lead dog .. is outta proven and strictly outta hog dog stock .. Never trashed by himself . and i dont believe he ever will . now i have had him try to bay a horse but that was because the other dogs was messing with it and thats why he did .. i can send pics if you are serious about him .. im in Mt Pleasant Texas (NE texas ) will not drive over 30 min !!!! now im jus asking for what i have in him when i got him wich was around when he was 5 months .. 350 Firm and wont budge a penny , 903 434 2804 or tyler.hutchings@bigtextrailers.com

HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / might have something good on my hands

Well i Took DD(6 1/2 month gyp) out yesterday to run with the big dogs to see how she would do at night .. now ive worked 2 mock hunts with her before . never struck the hog over my older male but she did stay step for step with him and the pig never got over 400 yards.. so that was as much as i seen of her work .. Last night we unloaded got the garmin on her and turned er loose. now i didnt really have high standards for this hunt but boy she proved me wrong .. she messed around the fourwheeler for about 10 min then bam next thing i know its her and another dog was .65 hammering down .. ![Shocked](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) i wish i coulda seen my own face lol it was a bitter sweet moment at the time for a guy to be jus now really gettin into hunting. anyway (my luck) the storm that we was trying to beat came a lil early and mother nature put on a pretty good lightning show on for us , wind startede to pick up . Then the rain started . so we tryed to haul butt to DD and Dan but the hog broke before we got there so we loaded up and called it a night. sorry for rambling on its jus i was a pretty happy fella about my lil gyp ![Smiley](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
