1  THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / Unfortunate events - Pack for sale on: May 31, 2014, 01:59:09 pm
Ill try not to get to windy with this, but work is taking me to North Dakota and a D-viorce is breaking my bank so here it goes:

I would really prefer to sell these dogs all together but if they will go to a good hunting home Ill consider it.

First is my lead strike dog a 6yr old brindle cur about 70lbs. He hunt until you are ready to cuss every bone in his body for not coming back. He will strike off truck, or he can be dropped on the ground. Bays loose until somthing else get rough then will be there till somthing is dead. 2000$

Second is a bout a 5 - 6 year old lepoard dog that I use as a cast dog, or to shut down a runner. He will also find hogs but will catch on the nuts about 80% of the time. 2500$

Third is my Big red cur that I use as run/catch for the most part. I usually run him and my lepoard together, for field or grain hunting they are good. He will bark a lil on the way to the bay but gets rough when he gets there, mostly catches. 700$

Fourth is a lepoard gyp that is just starting, she hasnt hunted a whole lot but is beautilful to watch in a bay pen, she also gets rough with one. 300$ has papers on her

And finally is my game bred red rednose bulldog. You will not find a gammier bulldog, you can turn him loose as far as you can hear a bay and he will not stop until he gets there. He is very friendly and rides in the box with my RCD and they never have never thought about fighting one another. 350$ he will not be sold alone must go with one of these dogs

This is a very strong pack that has hunted together for some years. I hate this more than anything but am not able to take with me.All other started dogs I have given away. I will show in woods so long as you have the place. Call or text 1-281-636-4180   mcollins@streamflo.com can send pics in the evening
2  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: New to Hoggin'; got some questions on: May 27, 2014, 03:17:07 pm
Yeah they'll be back for sure, but what you need to do if your going to hunt them with dogs is talk to your neighbors and get permission on there land cause 10 acres aint gonna cut it.
3  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Goin to do some hog hunts on the pursuit channel on: May 21, 2014, 09:34:38 pm
Nothing personal but I wish there wasn't any publicity about hog huntin with dogs at all on T.V. Either the tree huggin bird lovers will be offended by it or more fake want to be hunters will be flooding in. Hope you have fun with what your doin but be careful what you say and do while on camera.

Definatly a red ryder will do the trick, also if you have a pretty accurate throwing arm a can of green. Beens also gets the job done!

10  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Why bulldogs are worthless. on: April 13, 2014, 10:36:23 pm
I wish all of the na-sayers could meet my game bred red red nose named lil red, he was raised in a cow pasture with chickens and cows, he was a sight to see actually playing with the calves! He is the only bulldog I've ever put my brand on. He not only isn't in any way dog people or livestock agressive but he is actually the only dog my wife (who is verry dog timmed) is fear free from. He will be at a bay from as far as he can hear it and be caught till the life has left him! I know this thread was started with intent to only start drama, but come on... Were here to promote this sport as it says in the title online before you can even join on here. So for all the negative nancies starting these negative comments, stick to your jerry springer shows n let this be a positive for the sport. We. Have enough haters and naysayers trying to take our hunting rights and dog privilages without you starting unnessary drama.

13  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: someone hunting places without permission on: April 07, 2014, 08:46:14 pm
Definatly takes a super special shoulder licken short bus rider to hunt somewhere they don't have permission! I'd say give them an option the easy way or hard way.
14  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Wtf high fence hunt on: April 07, 2014, 12:52:14 pm
I hunt a 4000 acre high fence and there have been plenty of times we covered the whole place in a day. I dont think i'd have hunted with that many people on the same place either. But that being said, I also would have worked it out to go in and hunt the place the next day after everyone had left and caught all the hogs they missed too.  Grin
15  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Dang javelinas on: April 07, 2014, 08:59:02 am
I know I've gotten on them a couple times and they are mean sons of guns! Make a god awful racket like you say, they wil leave a bunch of holes all over your dogs and also tear off chunks of skin cause they will grab and shake like a bulldog too! Im just north of larado and they're plentyfull here too.
16  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Back agian, and big! Yall watch out! on: April 04, 2014, 09:50:27 pm
This one rattled too but to me and my bad ear it sounded like one of them sasadias ( probly spelled wrong ) the locust looking bugs. My buddy knew it instantly thank God. Big ol thing, big around as my forearm.
17  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Back agian, and big! Yall watch out! on: April 04, 2014, 12:42:15 pm
