I use the term "relay" in hog hunting, when you catch one hog and the dog(s) leave on another hog as soon as you get there and leg the hog. I think a lot of guys calling it "rolling out" or something like that.

Is this what you were referring too?

I did see a post the other day that called it this.  You may have it right there.  Generally, I call it rolling out myself.  Either way, I like a dog that does it.
