doggerdude14....It is good to ask questions and be open minded....but judging from your posts and comments I would recommend not buying a catch dog and gaining more experience and knowledge from lots of time in the woods.
Some of the the things you are requesting in a catch dog are not realistic. If you are looking for a dog to go find a hog and hold it for the strike dogs (then you are looking for a rough bay dog or running catch dog)...either way....that dog will end up getting cut or killed.
In my opinion you need to hunt with experienced, knowledgeable people and gain more experience and time in the woods. Then it would be a good time to start with a bay dog and not necessarily a pit or dogo.
