Try sticking a stick, pipe etc. through your stirrups and hanging it upside down by the stick, pipe etc.. It will work itself out eventually.
As far as dallying go in front of the horn and go counter clockwise (assuming you are right handed). Dally with your thumb up and try to get the first wrap as close to the bottom as possible.
