see this is where i think the pitbullworld has it right. they don't name a line after a person it is named after a dog, ie honeybunch dogs, jeep, redboy, butcherboy, rascal, etc. this way if you said you had a heavy jeep bred dog then you know basically what type of dog you are looking at. when someone says i have a "insert breeder name" dog, that really doesn't tell me much. because on one man's yard there can be a huge variant from one dog to another, but if you know that jeep throws deep game, avg biting, high ability, fast starting dogs, when i say my dog is real heavy jeep. well you know basically what traits my dog will have.

i don't like to ask about a line with reference to a breeder, but rather the dog. i think when people start wanting to put their name on a line it becomes self serving(i don't want to offend anyone, but i'm sure i will..apologizing in advance...SORRY). when you put it on the dog then it no longer becomes about you the breeder but about the dog..jmo

Right on the Money with this statement.  I was thinking the same thing , About the Pit line of dogs.
