I have bought muzzles from the National Greyhound Assoc. (NGA) to break catchy dogs and work dogs in the pen on smaller hogs.

The muzzles they sell are like those in photo but have heavier wire and a large clear, soft vinyl bridge over the nose.

Recently, I could not find the NGA muzzles so had some custom made from Morrco  in Louisiana.

I have saved a few catchy dogs from an early death with muzzles.  Never had a bad experience in the field to date, but it is possible.  I know others that used muzzles and not heard of any wrecks there.  If another dog attacks your muzzlesd dog, that dog could break teeth on muzzle....
