For those of you who say a man should have a better handle on his dog, I'd like to know your trick. I've tried everything there is and for some it works and some it hasn't.
IMOyou get what you put in them brother and some times you must cull if not up to your standards .. if said person owned CD from a pup , there is no reason for the dog not to have a handle and temperment for the job as a grown dog ... now , getting a grown dog and tring to train him for the job "temperment and handle when in a high stressful environment" may be a little harder , but can be done ... not saying everyone has the patients to do this , we need to be train before we can train .. and yall are right , there are way to many people breeding dogs for pets and selling to people that can't take care of themselves rather a dog for out rageous prices .. As an owner of the APBT you must be very very reasponsible , there should be NO accidental breedings , no accidents with live stock or kidz .. if you do have an accident you should learn from it and it should never happen again .. it's not the dogs , it's US !!!
