jdjp, a jav will tear up a dog. They will go to a bay if they are in the area and can hear the dogs. Most of the time they run in a pack. They are not really related to hogs, and your not supposed to hunt them with dogs from what I understand, but if you wana try your dogs on them sometime, I deer hunt a place here that is loaded up with them. Usually 14-16 a day.
