im 9 months out of a major knee surgery, not your standard orthoscope , i tore my patelar tendon completely into from my knee cap, knee cap had to be drilled and tendon reattached.  i has a sweet 10" scar looks like i had knee reaplacemant.
 anyway what i learned from my deal is to stay hooked on the rehab, get as much rehab as you can. do all the exercise they send home with you, as soon as you can.   

 dont over do it when you start walking again. 

 time will pass faster than you think. you will be going again before you know it.
