Very interesting, I am feeling the same lately... just not the same "buzz" that it used to be.    But I still go because I enjoy watching the dogs work.   Went out tonight and never struck a thing, but had a great time watching my dogs hunt their butts off.    Makes you proud when you drop your dogs down and even if you're on a desert island with no hogs, your dogs "believe" that there is one because you've taught them to.
