That's funny doubleR when I was a little I got in a mess of trouble at Brazos bend state park for catching copperhead and moccasins and putting them in a big plastic miracle whip jar. and at my papaws house on Toledo bend my cousin and I cuaght a baby gator and tried to hide it in grandma's pond 
Believe it or not spending my whole life in brazoria county woods and creeks ive never seen a rattlesnake. Maybe the water moccasins eat them all, because ive definitely seen my fair share of them.
